Daniel "DeeDee" Meloche, Age 72 of Wyandotte.

Beloved husband of Barbara Meloche for 48 years. Loving father of Patrick (Lori) Meloche and Jill (Keith) Zurmuehlen. Dearest grandfather of Caroline Meloche, Adele Meloche, Alex Zurmuehlen and Gabriel Zurmuehlen. Dear brother of Jim (Diane) Meloche, Judy Stachow, Nancy Strasser, Barbara Pelon, John (Jessica) Meloche and Dennis (Gloria) Meloche. Nephew of Julie Przekoposki. FAMILY TRIBUTE

Daniel "DeeDee" Meloche grew up in River Rouge with his 6 brothers & sisters.  He married his high school sweetheart Barb, and they were married for 48 years.  He worked as a die setter for McCord Gaskets for 26 years.  DeeDee also worked part time shooting fireworks all over Michigan & Ohio, even teaching his son Patrick.  After he left McCords he enjoyed being outside and working at a golf course.  DeeDee and Barb raised 2 kids, Patrick & Jill, and were delighted to have 4 grandchildren who he adored.  His true passion was golfing as often as possible.  You rarely saw him without a golf shirt and hat on.  When he wasn't golfing, he enjoyed playing poker on the computer, traveling with family, spending time with his grandkids, and watching the boats go by on the Detroit River in Wyandotte, where he & Barb have lived for the past 22 years.
