Dominic T. Cappuccilli, Jr. Age 80 of Woodhaven

 

Beloved husband of Shirley Cappuccilli. Loving father of Dominic Thomas (Darlene) Cappuccilli, III, Curt Andrew (Linda) Cappuccilli, Kenneth Paul (Suzanne) Cappuccilli, Paul Anthony (Diane) Cappuccilli, and Phillip John (Angela) Cappuccilli. Dearest grandfather of Chad Cappuccilli, Jesse (Martha) Burns, Jared (Ashley) Burns, Jordan (Nicole) Burns, Chase Cappuccilli, Joshua Cappuccilli, Andrew Cappuccilli, Samuel (Bre) Cappuccilli, Cavan Cotter, Anthony Cappuccilli, Brandon Cappuccilli, Matthew Cappuccilli, Hannah Cappuccilli, Bella Cappuccilli and Tommy Cappuccilli. Dear great grandfather of Avalon Burns and Violet Burns.

 

FAMILY TRIBUTE

Dominic Thomas Cappuccilli, Jr., was born in Monroe, Michigan in 1938. He graduated from Monroe Catholic Centeral in the class of 1956. From 1956 to 1959, he served in the Marine Corps. On January 12, 1957, he married Shirley Jean Fleszar. Dominic served in the Monroe County Sheriff’s department from 1961-1971 and served the City of Woodhaven Police Department from 1972 to 1997, which was the year that he entered retirement. During the year of 1990, he received his masters of social work. He was a probation officer for the Lincoln Park court system. He loved music, motorcycles, boating, shooting firearms, models, coin collecting, and writing. Dominic will always be remembered for his love for his family, making people laugh and telling stories.
