My dear friend Kay whom I was lucky enough to meet in college, just before our student teaching. We sat next to each other in math class where we helped, practiced, giggled, and talked on the phone after class. From that time on I knew we would be great friends! Lucky for me, I gained another great friend when meeting Jennifer! Twenty-seven years of friendship has been wonderful, and I hope to continue to have fun, giggle, and talk on the phone with Jennifer about all our great memories, and continue to make new ones! Kay was always smiling and extending herself to ask how others are doing or to share a warm and welcoming smile. She is so thoughtful and generous to others and although family and friends will miss her, I am sure she is already with a watchful eye and a gentle nudge for everyone to remember her fondly and to enjoy some together time in her honor.
