I have been wondering about my cousin Woody for the last few years he used to come to Minnesota and spend the summer on the farm with us and helped work the farm with . my dad, I understand because he enjoyed it. Did thid every summer till he joined the Navy So glad to hear he was well loved by his friends and family. There are many happy memories of his time with us.

I am his granddaughter, and I never met him. His daughter, Rebecca, never really knew him. Would have been nice to know him. My condolences.

One of the best guys to have in my life growing up, was crawling on his back while he built our downstairs bathroom in my house at around 5-6 years old! Love you grandpa wood, rest in peace. I'll have a few diet pepsi's for ya today.

Woody was just a suoer fellow with many stories. We enjoyed spending time and camping with Woody and Carole. Debbie and I send many kind thoughts to Carole on Woody's passing.

Woody was curious, generous, knew a lot about a lot of things, enjoyed fun-loving banter with friends, and never new a stranger. He was a very proud submarine veteran and mounted policeman. All his accomplishments prove his intelligence, courage, and ability to face and solve challenges. Lastly, he was a GREAT campfire storyteller and will be missed. Linda Riley

Woody was a kind and generous man. We lived a couple houses from him for several years. He was always willing to help his neighbors or lend an ear. He loved kids and my children went to visit with him often. He was always fun and taught them things like using tools. He even helped my husband build our deck. God bless Woody♥️
