Giuse (Joseph) Nguyễn Trung Tại of Brownstown.
Beloved husband of Coc Vu. Loving father of Hieu (Mai) Nguyen, Trina “Trinh” (Tung) Ngo, Hau (Thao Pham) Nguyen, Luong (Khanh) Nguyen-Do, Tammy Nguyen, Kien Nguyen, Dolly Nguyen, Nam Michelle (Brad) Nguyen Seid, and the late Hung (Dung Vu) Nguyen.
Dearest grandfather of Nghia, Tin, Mai Vy, Phuong Vy, Timothy, Casey, Kyle, Jena, Joseph, Lindsey, Kelly, Rosie, Roxanne, Ruby, and Luka.
Tai served in the People's Army of Vietnam during the Vietnam War and received special commendation by the United States Army for his role as First Seargent. In 1992, he immigrated with his wife and nine children to the United States. His legacy has grown to include fifteen grandchildren. He loved to sing and tell stories and jokes to anyone who would listen. He also enjoyed tending to the vegetables and flowers in his garden, collecting coins, creating art out of sea shells, fixing up and repurposing knickknacks, learning about wildlife on National Geographic, and watching after his grandchildren. He loved his family deeply and held a strong faith in God.
The family has requested no cards or gifts at this time.
