Family Tribute ~
George graduated from Lincoln Park High School, class of 1969. George dedicated the majority of his time working to provide for his family. He held supervisory roles at Wolverine Coil Coating, McClouth Steel, Severstal and Ford Motor Company. George was a very hard worker and loved to fix everything. If you needed something specific and he had the material to make it, he would do his best to fabricate exactly what you needed. He could tell you how to fix something over the phone, very detailed, and if that didn’t work - he would come up with a new way to do it.
In his spare time, George loved to go camping, driving around in his golf cart and watching Red Wings and Tigers games. He also loved his swimming pool and hanging out with family and friends.
George absolutely cherished his kids and grandkids the most. He would light up every time the grandkids walked in his house. He would offer up a hostess cupcake or cookies all the time. George loved to cook for his family as well. Any time you would mention something that sounded good to eat, he would have a to-go bag ready for you (or the dog) the next day.
We are all going to miss our Papa Geo so much. Always a fun time to be around, a crazy story to share, or a funny situation that he somehow got himself in. His memories will last a lifetime. George was the best Dad and Papa you could ever hope for. We are at peace knowing he is finally resting with the love of his life, Denise. Til we meet again, we all love and miss you both so very much.
