Family Tribute ~
Wiera Jucha
May 15, 1940 - April 21, 2025
Wiera (Galas) Jucha came from a simple life, raised in the small town of Oleszyce, Poland. It was there she met the love of her life, marrying Konstanty Jucha on April 3, 1961. In 1964, after winning a visa lottery, she emigrated to the United States with Konstanty and their eldest son Peter.
Upon arrival in the United States, Wiera proceeded to have two more children, John and Elizabeth. She loved her family dearly, and as her children grew older, she juggled various odd jobs. She spent some time working at Michigan Bell, she was a Nurses Aide, she was also a house cleaner and babysitter. The families she worked for all loved her dearly and treated her like family. In addition to all of her jobs and responsibilities, she was also a chauffeur. Her husband refused to drive, therefore for many years she had to drive him to and from work while juggling her many roles.
Wiera valued hard work and education. She insisted that her children get the education that she did not have the opportunity to earn, and as a result, all three of her children earned their college degrees. As her three children married and had families of their own, she greatly enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. Before her passing, she had the joy of meeting and holding her only great grandson.
All in all, Wiera was a religious woman who believed that her faith and prayer would conquer all. She was selfless and reveled in the gift of giving. Her sole purpose in life was in providing for her children and their families. She will be deeply missed.
