Karen was not only a wonderful sister-in-law, she was one of my true sisters. She had such a vibrant, caring spirit and mystic soul, being one with nature and God. There are so many great stories I could tell about being Up North at the cottage, her special, mystic parties on Friday the 13th, her calling me and telling my what to expect with the Soltis Moon, and most of all her taro card readings. She was all ways spot on!. Karen had a special connection with the spirits, angels and God. But my one memory that I will never forget was when Karen and Bill went on an Alaskan Cruise to get married. Candy and I thought there needed to be some type of family representation on the BIG DAY! Candy and I flew to Anchorage, then the next day to Juneau to meet the ship the next morning where Bill needed to get the marriage license. As we stood on the dock we spotted Karen on the balcony. She was looking around and then she spotted us and our sign. She kept screaming for Bill to come out, that she spotted Candy and myself. "Bill, Candy and Nancy are here." They came down to greet us and were able to get the
Captain to allow us to be at their wedding on the ship. Candy was the Maid of Honor and I was Bill's Best Man! It was a beautiful ceremony. After the wedding, Karen kept running around the ship yelling "I'm Mrs. Schuster!". It was so sweet and funny. The Captain offered us to eat dinner with them but we declined to let them have their romantic time together. Once off the ship we waved goodbye and wished them a fantastic Honey Moon.
Karen my heart is breaking as you will be truly missed in all our lives. You may be gone from this earth, but I know you will be with me in spirit as one of my Angels. So until we meet again, know that I love you, will always be thinking of you and keeping you in my heart!.
