Family tribute ~
Mom was born in Laredo, TX. When she was a baby, her family moved to Michigan. She raised 6 kids in River Rouge and later moved to Wyandotte to continue raising her kids. She was a proud retiree from Wyandotte Public Schools, the Maintenance Department, and loved the city of Wyandotte. She loved her Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees (it was hard for her to root for one or the other if they played against each other). She attended many, many opening days to root them on. Mom loved Neil Diamond (Forever In Blue Jeans) and would dance and sing along to his music; she attended many of his concerts. Mom looked forward every year walking the Mackinaw Bridge. She loved her many, many friends, and also loved any and every animal she ever came across, especially her fur babies. There was always a seat at the family table, a roof over anyone's head who needed it, and she was always willing to help anyone. She fought a long, strong battle with Alzheimer's disease; she knew who everyone was until the very end. Mom is now "Walking on Sunshine" with her beloved Bill, and her oldest son, James Lynn. She will be missed by many, especially her family and her fur baby companion, Romeo.
