Obituary of Vincent P. McShane
April 20, 1933 - June 30, 2025
Vincent Patrick McShane. Age 92 of Grosse Ile.
Vincent Patrick McShane, passed away peacefully at Wyandotte Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Margaret. His four children; daughter Cathy (Frank), daughter Carolyn, son Tim (Kim) and son Bernie (Lanee). His five grandchildren; Martin, Megan (Rich), Amber, MaryKate (Jon), Vincent and Bernie (Susan). His five great-grandchildren; Myles, Gracie, Molly, Robbie and David.
Vincent graduated from Riverview High School in 1952. He was drafted that same year into the U.S. Air Force, spending 4 years as an air traffic controller. Upon being honorably discharged from the Service, Vincent graduated from the University of Michigan. He spent 34 years in multiple management positions with Old Kent Bank. Retiring in 1995, Vincent enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard and spending time with his family.
Vincent was a kind soul that will be missed. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family takes solace in knowing that Vincent is now with his parents, Mary and Thomas and his brothers and sisters who preceded him.
