Family Tribute ~
Ray was a devoted husband, proud step-dad and a loved Jaja who loved and cared for his family. He was a retired Taylor police sergeant who served there 25 years and then went on to work at the Federal Court in Downtown Detroit for another 7 years. Ray was known for his “quick wit” and love of softball. At family gatherings he loved to get “gossip” and tell stories from his law enforcement years, whether it was Taylor PD or the Federal Court. Ray’s legacy will live on in the stories and countless memories we will carry in our hearts and share and pass down to others, and he will never be forgotten.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
