Obituary of Scott Lawrence
June 17, 1971 - September 27, 2025
Scott Lawrence. Age 54 of Southgate.
Scott was born in Warner Robins, Georgia to Ray Lawrence and the late Nancy Holland Lawrence. He graduated from Southwest High School in Macon. He was a diesel technician for several years in Macon and most recently was employed at Superior Turbo and Injection in Detroit.
Scott was a kind-hearted, gentle giant who sacrificed his own comforts so that his family was taken care of. His hobbies were fishing, playing poker, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Holland Lawrence and cousin, Brian Lammers. He is survived by his wife, Leaha Lawrence and children, Anderson and Greyson of Southgate; father, Ray Lawrence of Macon, sisters Jacquie Suber (Tim) of Anchorage, Alaska and Kim Paul (Jim) of Lizella, Georgia, aunt Carolyn Lammers (Dan), uncle David Lawrence (Doris) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
