Obituary of Kenneth R. Knope

Kenneth Raymond Knope. Age 74 of Wyandotte, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025. He was born on March 24, 1951 to Raymond and Rita Knope. He graduated from Roosevelt in 1969 and proudly retired in 2013 as a City Surveyor with the City of Dearborn. On July 16, 1994 he married the love of his life, Debbie, and together they shared 31 wonderful years filled with laughter and love!
Ken is survived by his wife and best friend, Debbie; his children Kenny (Jocelyn) and Molly (Dylan); his grandchildren, Jadyn, Blake, Abel and Ruby; he also leaves behind many friends and family who will miss his humor, music and love.

John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
