Madeline Strand. Age 92 of Riverview.
Beloved wife of the late Arnold Keith Strand. Loving mother of Sharon (Charles) Sutton and Susan (Daniel) Racklyeft. Dearest grandmother of Jessica (Matthew) Wetzel, Elyse (Anthony) Johnson, Lucas Sutton, Kayla (Paul) Rosin and Mark (Katrina) Racklyeft. Great grandmother of Harper, Rutherford, Augustus, Kyron, Jaida, Brysen, Ezekiel, Malachi, Mabel, Hezekiah, Keith, Victor and Helena. Also survived by her bonus daughter Sue (John) Konieczko, their children: Melissa (David) Rogel and Elliot (Ashley) Konieczko, and their grandchildren Keith and Logan. Preceded in death by her parents, Torkom and Parouhe Varterian; her sister Elizabeth Quay; and her brother Vahe “John” Varterian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephens in Detroit or Christ the King Church.

John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
