Family Tribute ~
Maria’s life was a testament to her nurturing spirit and exceptional artistry. She nourished everyone she knew, transforming her kitchen into a haven where her delicious lasagna, arancini, homemade soups, and delicious cannolis were lovingly shared. Beyond the kitchen, she was a highly skilled seamstress, dedicating her creativity and quality workmanship to hand-making dozens of wedding and bridesmaid dresses for family and friends. With patience and precision, she would hand-sew intricate lace and thousands of beads, creating cherished heirlooms. Maria’s love for children was unwavering, reflected in the over 30 years she spent as a lunch-aide at Carr School in Lincoln Park and her passion for her grandchildren. She was a beautiful, compassionate person who simply wanted to care for everyone.
We take comfort knowing that she now rests in paradise, welcomed into God's open arms, reunited with Camille, Ernie and her parents Francesco and Susanna.
She is an angel now. We will cherish her always, carrying her love with us and keeping her beautiful memory alive.

The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
