Obituary of Armando Espinosa
June 18, 1941 - January 30, 2026
Armando Joe “Moe” Espinosa, age 84, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. Born on June 18, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, Moe lived a life rooted in family, hard work, quiet strength, and love.
Moe was the devoted husband of Mary Ann Espinosa, with whom he shared more than 60 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and unconditional support. He was a loving father to Lisa White, Karyn Sauve (Timothy), and Justin Espinosa (Michelle); a proud grandfather to Bronson White, Vincent White, and Aleka Sauve; and a cherished great-grandfather to Bronson Belle and Vincent White II.
He is survived by his sisters Stella Strope and Mary “Rosie” Hernandez, and was preceded in death by his sister Josephine “Tootsie” Garcia. Moe also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever carry his love with them.
Moe worked as a welder for Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 1992, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Even after retirement, he continued to serve his community as an active member of the Taylor CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
A quiet but powerful presence, Moe showed his love through actions — always doing everything he could for everyone around him. He was known for his laugh, perfectly timed one-liners, ice cream dates with his wife, his love for the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and a cold beer. Above all else, Moe’s greatest pride was the loving family he helped create.
Visitation will be held on February 3rd from 2:00–9:00 PM, with a service at 6:00 PM, at Molnar Funeral Homes - Nixon Location, located at 2544 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, MI 48192. Food will be available at the funeral home.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
