Obituary of Robert A. Woelkers
March 27, 1929 - February 11, 2026
Robert A. Woelkers. Age 96 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of the late Wanda Woelkers. Loving father of Judy (the late Norman) Sadler, Colleen (Russell) Sims, Robert (Valarie) Woelkers Jr, Beverlee (Joseph) Galea, Dale (Roxanne) Woelkers and the late Kim Edward Woelkers. Dearest grandfather of Leanne (Bruce), Joseph (Lori), Russell II (Heather), Robert III (Julie), Eric (Heather), Tami (Scott), Emily (Steve), Joseph (Alysha), Nicholas, Ashley (Steve), Jordan (Leah), Amy and Christopher (Jennifer). Great grandfather of Michael, Briana, Caitlyn, Wright, Jackson, Dylan, Sam, Megan, Courtney, Kelsey, Ryan, Audrey, Callie, Logan, Mason (Taylor), Aubrianna and Brendan. Great-great grandfather of TJ and Jack. Brother-in-law of Laverne Maricak. Also survived by his goddaughter Kelley and many other nieces and nephews.
Robert worked at his family's business, Biddle Bowl and Lounge since 1948 and then became owner in 1972. He sold the business to his son and daughter in 2002 and continued to work there until 2025 at the age of 95.
