Obituary of Norma Smith
September 7, 1943 - April 24, 2026
Norma Smith. Age 82 of Gaylord, MI.
Beloved mother of Kristi (Salvatore) Pascarella. Loving grandmother of Mia. Dearest aunt of Brandy, Kedra (Amy) and Lynsey. Great aunt of Evadene, Isabella, Caroline and TJ. Also survived by loving partner Robert “Bob” Wasek and his children Renee (JJ), Colleen (Rob) and their children. Norma’s sisters Barbara, Jean and many cousins. Preceded in death by her parents Norman “Normie” Smith and Caroline Gottman. Her sister Donna Kearis and brother Jimmy Smith.
Memorial contributions in honor of Norma Smith are appreciated to the Wounded Warriors.
Family Tribute
Norma graduated from Dearborn High School in 1961 and had a fulfilling career with Ford Motor Company for over 41 years.
Norma was an avid motorcyclist and owned several Harleys in her lifetime. She also enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating, snowmobiling, camping, traveling and was a huge fan of the Detroit Red Wings.
She was a member of the 45th Parallel H.O.G. Chapter #1161 and the Fagowees Ski Club.
Norma is known for her fun-loving spirit and outgoing social persona. You would rarely see her without a smile on her face.
Norma was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
