Family tribute:
Vince was born on April 21, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. On October 24, 1964 he married the love of his life Judy Reeves and immediately began their family. They were blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Rebecca and seven beautiful grandchildren: Tyler, Emily, Connor, Sydney, Carsen, Hailey, and Alyssa.
They settled in Brownstown, Michigan where they raised their family. He worked most of his career at McClouth Steel and retired from Rouge Steel. Vince also served 20 years as a Brownstown Firefighter serving as Captain. Vince was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. With those being his beloved hobbies, they settled in Beulah, Michigan after retirement where they built their dream house deep in the woods and enjoyed everything Northern Michigan had to offer for almost 20 years. Many precious memories were made with their family and new friends up north.
Vince cherished his family. He was so proud of all of them. He loved watching their sporting events and hearing about all of their accomplishments.
Illness brought them back downriver where Vince bravely battled Parkinson's Disease for almost 10 years with Judy becoming his amazing caregiver. Three months ago, he moved into Mom's House on Grosse Ile where he received the most incredible care. from Sarah, Violet, Annie, Kathy, Destiny, Max, and Em. We will never be able to thank them enough.
We will miss him so much, but we know he is finally resting peacefully.
Vince is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, his daughters, Tracy (Shawn) MacDonell and Rebecca (Bob) Doty, his precious grandchildren, Tyler MacDonell, Emily (Rick) Freiberg, Connor MacDonell, Sydney Garalczyk, Carsen MacDonell, Hailey Garalczyk, and Alyssa Garalczyk, and their amazing significant others, Max Lundberg, Julia Latendresse, Olivia Alexander, Ryan Landsberger, Wyatt Wendell, and Taylor Blankenship.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
