Carole Chapman, age 70, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Dave Chapman, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Carole was the loving mother of Nicole Chapman and cherished grandmother of Gabrielle Lynn, roles she held with deep pride and joy.
Carole is survived by her devoted sister Joyce Kellereskie‑Rodak; her brother‑in‑law Boyd (Valerie) Chapman; and many nieces and nephews who adored her: Brent (Meghan), Jimmy (Karen), Joy (Matt), Jill (Travis), Michael, Brian (Colleen), Tammy (Tony), and Tanya (Phillip), along with numerous great‑nieces and great‑nephews who brought her endless happiness.
She is preceded in death by her sister Kathie Skell and her parents Lawrence and Jeanne Kellereskie.
Carole lived a life rich with connection, laughter, and tradition. She loved traveling to Florida, golfing, and playing pickleball with her dear friends. She was known for hosting family gatherings—especially her treasured annual Polish Christmas celebration, a tradition that brought generations together under her warm and spirited leadership.
