Obituary of Lawrence Hicks
April 10, 1954 – May 26, 2026
Lawrence “Larry” Hicks. Age 72 of Lincoln Park.
Former husband and close friend of Terry Hicks. Loving Father of Lisa (Rick) Holbdy and Angela (Chris) Maeso. Dearest grandpa of Ricky (Marissa), Hailey, Nicholas and Matthew. Great grandpa of Benjamin. Dear brother of Robert Hicks, Rae (Mark) Zimmerman, John (Sandra) Hicks and Libby Miller. Also survived by Many nieces, nephews and his sister-in-law Brenda White. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Kathleen Hicks, siblings; Grant (Mary) Akers, Edward “Ned” White and Rickey White.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to University of Michigan Rogel and Blondy Center for Pancreatic Cancer.
Family Tribute ~
Larry loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his new love, his first great grandson Benny. He supported all four of his grand kids at all of their sports and activities.
Larry fought a hard battle against pancreatic cancer.
He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
