Family Tribute ~
Bill was born in Detroit in 1947 and spent his life building a legacy not through grand gestures but through hard work, loyalty and the relationships he cherished. Throughout his career he worked at Detroit Metro Airport, Billeo's and Willow Run Airport where he retired as an air traffic controller in 2008. Before beginning work life, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. Shared a life w/ his beloved wife Cynthia for 57 years! Proud father to daughters Stacey and Jennifer and son in law Brian Though he may not have expressed his feelings w/ words; his actions spoke volumes. Bill was also active in the Woodhaven Moose and American Legion in Trenton. He wasn't someone who felt the need to be the center of attention. In fact, one of the things many will remember most is that Bill was content to sit back, listen and let everyone else talk.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
