FAMILY TRIBUTE

Violet graduated from Roosevelt High school in Wyandotte Michigan. During high school she started working at Neisner’s Drug Store and Ushered for the Wyandotte Theater. Upon high school graduation, Violet started working at Wyandotte Savings Bank in the loan department and retired from NBD Bank in 1990. After retirement she started doing volunteer work for the Wyandotte Hospital and went back to work in 1998 as a receptionist for R.J. Nixon Funeral Home (Molnar Funeral Homes) in Wyandotte for over 13 years.

She met her husband to be Sam Caruso at a dance at Dom Polski Hall in the mid 1940's and they were married in 1947.

Violet enjoyed big band music, reading mystery novels, coloring books, crossword puzzles, shopping, old black and white movies, Judge Judy, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Perry Como. She also had a unique taste for artichokes and chocolate covered gummy bears (not at the same time).

She especially loved her community, celebrating special occasions and a good family party.

Nothing was more important in life to Violet than her family and she loved being surrounded by them and her friends.
