Barbara Sue Bright Roberts, lovingly known to many as "Crazy Aunt Barb," passed away on June 26,
2026, at the age of 73. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, friendship, and
unconditional love that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
A spicy redhead with a fun, adventurous, and sometimes sneaky personality, Barb lived life to the
fullest. She never passed up an opportunity for fun, whether she was attending street festivals,
floating down the river, shopping for the perfect treasure, or trying her luck at the casino. Her
infectious laugh, quick wit, and playful spirit made every gathering brighter and every adventure
more memorable.
Barb loved looking her best. She took pride in her appearance, loved to smell good, and was rarely
seen without her lipstick. No matter where she was going or who she was meeting, she believed in
putting her best foot forward. Her signature style, confidence, and vibrant personality were part of
what made her so unforgettable.
More than anything, Barb loved her family. As a devoted single mother, she worked tirelessly and
made countless sacrifices to provide for her children, Bridget Sryniawski Ashley and Jeff
Sryniawski. Through hard work, determination, and unwavering love, she taught them the values of
strength, perseverance, and independence.
Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barb was a loving
grandmother to Karissa, Janee, Tyler, Brianna, Samantha, Leah, Erin, Nathan, Tommy, Janelle,
and Jeffery Sryniawski. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jameson and Maxine. Her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren inspired her to quit smoking, reflecting the depth of her love
for them and her desire to be present for as many precious moments as possible.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Woodson and Birvile Bright; her beloved husband,
Jimmy Roberts; and her cherished grandson, Jeffery Sryniawski.
In addition to her family, Barb had a large and devoted circle of friends whom she loved like family.
Her kindness, humor, and welcoming nature drew people to her wherever she went. She never met a
stranger and had an amazing ability to make everyone feel included, valued, and loved. The
friendships she built throughout her life were among her greatest treasures.

Barb will be remembered for her vibrant personality, adventurous spirit, fierce loyalty, and the joy she
brought to everyone around her. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an unforgettable mark on
countless lives.
While her family and friends mourn her loss, they also celebrate a life beautifully lived—a life filled
with laughter, friendship, sacrifice, adventure, and love. Her memory will live on in every story shared,
every laugh remembered, and every heart she touched.
Barbara Sue Bright Roberts—beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, Sister
and friend—will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her spirit will continue to shine through
the family and friends she cherished above all else.
