Obituary of Deloris Locke
August 17, 1948 - July 2, 2026
Deloris Locke. Age 77 of Southgate.
In Loving Memory of Deloris Locke
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deloris Locke of Southgate, Michigan.
Deloris was the beloved wife of Don Locke, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to Debra (Joe) and Michael, and a proud grandmother to Jennifer (Alex), Kyle (Torey), and Ryan.
Whether she was lovingly called Grandma or Gigi, Deloris treasured every moment with her beloved great-grandchildren: Michael, Lucas, Josephine, Nicholas, and Malia. Deloris was also a fierce protector of her younger sister, Sharon (Paul). Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and watching each generation grow.
Deloris had a special love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Blossom. She adored cats and had a fondness for owls, which brought her happiness throughout her life. Deloris enjoyed capturing every moment through the lens of her camera and kept thousands of pictures delicately packed away.
Deloris will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her kindness, warmth, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
