Family Tribute ~

Mark grew up in Allen Park, Michigan. He was raised by his Mom and Dad in the Catholic faith. He graduated from Allen Park High School in 1981. He subsequently went through the  apprenticeship program at Henry Ford Community College and achieved his Tool and Die Maker Journeyman card in the 1990s. Mark spent the majority of his career working as a Tool and Die Maker in Michigan; working for Reliant Die and Engineering, Tower Automotive, Progressive Stamping, Hatch Stamping and ultimately Advanced Vehicle Assemblies (formerly Milan Metal Systems) in his senior position as a Tool and Die Maker Journeyman.

During the mid-1990s, Mark lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and worked as a Blackjack and Roulette Dealer at the Barbary Coast Casino.

Mark was an avid hunter throughout his life and hunting and shooting were his most passionate hobbies. He hunted deer during archery, firearm and muzzleloader seasons. He also hunted bear,
pheasant, foul and liked to go fishing whenever he could.
He won several awards for competition shooting at Multi-lakes Conservation Club in Commerce Township. Mark became a member of the Kenzington Lodge hunting camp in Hulbert, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula in 1989. Mark’s involvement in the group was instrumental to almost all of the current members joining. At the time of his passing, Mark was the President of this club. He was admired for his commitment and passion for hunting and the group.

Mark also spent family vacations up north in Higgins Lake; from his early childhood with his Mom, Dad and siblings and up to and including most recently in July 2023. Mark was also a proud owner of his Harley and enjoyed riding and kayaking. He also enjoyed giving back to his community and most recently donated his time to Mimi’s Mission, a non-profit organization that helps families who have autistic children or adults, where he built rock climbing walls for ten families.

Mark was genuine, kind, passionate, trustworthy, outgoing, social, and dependable. He loved many and was loved by many. He was the best family member and made sure he connected to each of them on a personal level. There were many people that were part of his extended family that he considered like blood. He had a way of making those he cared about feel the authenticity of his character. Mark would want to be remembered for his commitment to his family and friends and his appreciation for the time we all spent with him throughout his life. Until we meet again Mark, rest in peace. You are loved and missed.
