Obituary of Deborah J. White

July 13, 1950 - November 22, 2023

Deborah Jean Campbell White, 73, of Wyandotte, MI, died peacefully on  November 22nd at home, holding the hand of her high school sweetheart, Bruce.

Debbie was born on July 13, 1950, in Lincoln Park, MI. The second of six children born to Jennie and Arthur Campbell. Debbie grew up in Lincoln Park with her siblings, the late Donna (the late Joseph) Kovacs, the late Dale (the late Lois) Campbell, Jeanette (Gary) Shelton, Becky (John) Wilson, and Colleen (Ken) Gibbs.

As a child, Debbie was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, remaining a faithful member of the LDS community until her death. Debbie served for many years as the ward organist/pianist, after teaching herself to play as a teenager. She also served in various roles throughout her life, but truly enjoyed working with the youth of the church.

While attending Lincoln Park High School, Debbie met Bruce White and their unwavering love for each other continues to endure. Debbie and Bruce were married on January 31, 1972 and eventually settled in Wyandotte. There they raised their children, Michael (Kim) White, Janna White, Kimberly (Rich) Santoro, and Ryan (Jenn) White, and welcomed 7 cherished grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

We are grateful for the many wonderful memories we have and will miss her always.
