Obituary of Victoria Razmek
April 1, 1933 - January 7, 2024
Victoria “Vicky” Hedwig Razmek. Age 90 of Riverview.
Vicky passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born April 01, 1933 to Stanley and Hedwig Starzec, Victoria lived her young life in Wyandotte with her three sisters Virginia, Joan and Sylvia, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends nearby.
Vicky had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of practicality. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Vicky donated much of her time and talent to her local parish St. Cyprian’s ladies guild. Vicky enjoyed cooking, baking and knitting, she could often be found knitting hats for the homeless in her spare time.
Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Bernard Razmek, son David (Carolyn), daughter Nancy (Jim) Jackson, grandchildren Brendan Razmek, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Barsodi, Sarah (Aaron Poynter) and James Jackson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Sophia, Jackson, and Oanna. She is preceded in death by her daughter Janet Razmek.
The Razmek family has requested that flowers not be sent to church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Capuchin Services Center in Detroit.
Following interment, a luncheon will be held at Salute Special Events in Flat Rock.
