Obituary of Elizabeth Weatherholt
June 24, 1948 - March 13, 2024
Elizabeth "Betty" Weatherholt. Age 75 of Brownstown.
Loving mother of Geraldine (Michael) Mitchell and Dennis (Tina) Weatherholt. Beloved stepmother to Ron and Angie Hecox. Dearest grandmother of Kateland Lehner, Chloe (Derek) Menser, Kristin (Nick) Seipelt, Zachary Mitchell, and Hayley Hecox. Great grandmother of Alayna, Gregory, Jamie, and Alex. Dear sister of Frances (the late Brian) Drobet, Patrick (Gwen) Haener, Joseph (Debi) Haener, Reynold (Sue) Haener, and Geraldine (Jim) Theobald; and sister-in-law of Tammy (the late Timothy) Haener. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Margaret (Kuehnel) Haener; husband, Dennis Weatherholt; fiance Ben Hecox; siblings Bernadette George, Mary (Rick) Helfrich, and Timothy Haener; and brothers-in-law Rick Helfrich and Brian Drobet.
Betty worked as a Realtor for 46 years, receiving the title of Realtor Emeritus from the National Association of Realtors. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the VFW. Betty liked animals and doing puzzles, and loved going out to eat– she was considered something of a restaurant connoisseur. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Memorial contributions are appreciated to the animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
