FAMILY TRIBUTE
Jackie has enjoyed three basic things in life: family, friends and music.
Spending time with family was by far her greatest joy. Whether it was acting as her kids high school swim coach, visiting with her Aunts up north, or enjoying every possible moment with her husband, kids and grandchildren, Jackie cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories.
Her outgoing personality made making friends easy. Through her involvement in the Red Hat Society and other community organizations, she had a knack for making new friends. Even those she meet from something as simple as giving her a ride to an appointment were not off-limits. She came away with more information in a 20 minute drive than most people find out about someone they have known their entire life.
Jackie had a tremendous love of music spending many years singing with Sweet Adelines. Her involvement in this organization allowed her to enjoy the best of all things she loved. She was able to travel to places far and near, Grand Rapids to Hawaii, with her family. She was able to socialize with her friends and make new ones. She was able to express her passion for music like no other.
