Obituary of Donald P. O'Malley

May 5, 1944 - February 21, 2020 

Donald P. O'Malley.  Age 75 of Brownstown.

Beloved husband of Sandra.  Loving father of Maureen (Scott) Nash and Kelley (Scott) Watson.  Dearest grandfather of David, Jenna, Adam and Emma.  Dear brother of Tom (Gale), Joe and Michael (Cherie).

Don was born and grew up in Windsor, Ontario, around the corner from his future wife, Sandra.  He played basketball in high school and also when he attended WOIT (St. Clair College) where he studied mechanical technology.  After graduating in 1966, Don and Sandra were married, and Don started working for Chrysler Canada in Windsor.  He entered their management training program and then moved on to the car assembly plant.  Don moved through several manufacturing assignments and then into production control.  Don also continued his education at Central Michigan University for a business degree.  He finished his career at Chrysler as a purchasing agent at CTC in Auburn Hills, MI, before retiring in 1999, after 33 years.

Retirement gave him more time to enjoy his hobbies which included woodworking, golf, and bowling.  He also loved to spend time with friends and family.  He'll be remembered for his kind nature, quiet sense of humor, and his love and devotion for his family.
