FAMILY TRIBUTE

Paul - A cherished Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and a Faithful Friend. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. He proudly served our country in the United States Army as a marksman, First Class Gunner and Rocket Launcher.

In his life Paul was known most for his faith, dedication and love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He served as an Evangelist, taught bible college and served as a Pastor for many years. He loved and ministered to the homeless at the Detroit City Rescue Mission for many years.

He was a selfless man. He didn’t care about your social status or your race; all he cared about was, do you know where you’re going when you leave this life? He wasn’t a shy man, he would stop to talk to anyone, anywhere at anytime about Jesus. He was never ashamed of his beliefs or his convictions and stood strong. He never backed down when it came to it.

To me he was just my dad, a man who loved me despite my faults. However, he was strict, stern and never at loss for words when it came to teaching me right from wrong and telling me to get it together. He helped mold me into who I am today.

To my dad, of you I am so proud. You were a selfless, humble man of God. I thank God that you were mine and I was yours. The first man that I ever loved, my voice of reason, my protector, my dinner date, but most of all my friend.

To your Grandchildren you were a Pap, a man they always knew loved them. Someone they laughed with, cried with and someone they greatly respected. You were a great example, you taught them about faith and serving others. Even in your last few weeks you cared more about them than yourself.

We will love and cherish you always.

Love, your Baby
