Obituary of Peggy Korogiannos
April 17, 1934 – April 6, 2020
Peggy Korogiannos. Age 85 of Southgate.
Beloved wife of Pete Korogiannos. Loving mother of Maria (the Late Paul) Urchick, Dino (Tracy) and the late Gus. Dear sister of Pete Diodorou and Dina Burkulas. Also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, deeply caring about those she touched every day. She instilled in her children a love of life and family. As a mother she provided a constant source of strength and love to her children and grandchildren. Peggy was loved by all who met her. She enjoyed traveling, with trips to the beach a special joy to her. She also shared her love of her homeland Greece with her children, traveling with them to connect them to her loved ones abroad. Having touched so many hearts, Peggy will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all those who loved her in return.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Cancer Research at Karmanos Cancer Institute in the name of Peggy Korogiannos. Contribution notifications may be sent to Maria at MUrchick@comcast.net.
