Obituary of Barbara J. Acord
September 6, 1943 - May 6, 2020
Barbara J. Acord. Age 76 of New Boston.
Beloved wife of the late Sherman P. Acord. Loving mother of Sheila (Hiram) Merritt, Sherry (Chad) Lindamood, Sherman Paul Acord Jr., Michael (Paula) Acord and Ronald (Tracy) Acord. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Carol J. Jones, grandson Michael R. Acord Jr, granddaughter Tonya L. Jones, siblings Charlotte Mullican, Hoarce (Mac) McDaniel, Samuel Bennett, Ronald Bennett and parents Raymond and Ocie Bennett.
Barbara was born and raised in Abraham, West Virginia. She married in Slab Fork, West Virginia in December of 1958 then moved to Michigan.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and serving the Lord. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Private family services will be held.
