Obituary of Michael "Mick" Lukosavich
January 24, 1947 - June 1, 2020
Michael David (Mick) Lukosavich. 73 of Lincoln Park.
Michael David (Mick) Lukosavich passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Oakwood Beaumont Hospital surrounded by his family. Mick was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen, and father, Joseph, as well as his brother James. Mick is survived by his loving wife, Marie, of 48 plus years and his four sons: Jeffrey (Bree), Christopher (Jamie), Jonathan (Amanda), and Matthew (Alie). One of the highlights of Papa’s life was his time with his adoring grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Paige, Henry, Alyssa, Zack, Christopher Jr. (CJ), Jaxon, Lawton, Cirena, and newest grandson on the way will all miss their Papa tremendously. Mick is also survived by his brothers, Thomas (Connie) and Gerald (Jackie), and his sister Kathy (Rick). He also had many nieces and nephews for whom he cared deeply.
Mick lived a very full life. Outside of time with his family, he loved golfing, spending time at Merry Lake with his friends, and enjoying a little splash with a good cigar. He was a veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his bravery and selflessness. Although his wife lost her best friend, his sons lost their hero, and his grandchildren lost their Papa, we have full faith that heaven gained a noble man and angel who can look down and protect all of us.
