Obituary of Peggy Ann Cote
September 20, 1955 – June 23, 2020
Peggy Ann Cote, 64, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2020.
Peggy was the youngest of 6 children and is survived by her husband of 34 years, Tab Allan Cote and siblings Edward Rybicki Jr. and Dorothy Ramsey Patterson. She leaves behind a loving family of 7 nieces, 8 nephews, 9 great nieces and 7 great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Rybicki Sr. and Genevieve Jasinski Rybicki, brothers Robert and Richard Rybicki, and sister Lillian Graybill.
Born in Wyandotte in 1955, Peggy was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. She worked at J.L. Hudsons, Marshall Fields, and Macy’s in cosmetics for 44 years. She lost her 2.5 year battle with cancer, she was brave and strong, loved life and didn’t want to give up.
She loved her husband Tab and she loved her family, she loved sports, Charlie Brown and celebrating her birthday. She was the queen of celebrating and always chose joy during struggle.
She will be missed terribly, but there is much joy in knowing she is finally home. Rest in Peace Peggy, you are truly loved by all whose lives you touched.
Peggy chose cremation. Family would appreciate donations to Shelter to Home Animal Rescue 266 Oak St. Wyandotte, MI 48192 or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
