May 17, 1947 - September 5, 2020
Myron L. Newton, Age 73 of Rockwood.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine. Loving father of Leigh Ann Newton. Dearest grandfather of Catherine Marie Newton.
Family Tribute
Myron grew up on a farm in Lawrenceburg, TN and told so many stories about how many lessons he learned living the farm life. He graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1965. Myron worked for 30 plus years for Ford Woodhaven Stamping Plant and retired when his wife became ill with cancer. He cared for her and his mother in law and father in law during their time of sickness. He was a giver, he never let anyone go without. Myron was always donating to charities: American Cancer Assoc, Humane Society, Wounded War Veterans, and March of Dimes to name a few. He loved to "tinker". His garage was a workshop for any project that inspired him.
