Obituary of Penny Denise Bardinelli
January 13, 1960 – September 14, 2020
Penny Denise Bardinelli. Age 60 of Brownstown, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14th, 2020, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She was born in Circleville, Ohio, as the only child of Helen (Kocher) and Harold Abney. In 1977, she boldly studied abroad to Campo Grande, Brazil, where she learned Portuguese and a love for international travel. She completed to beauty school in Columbus, Ohio, and soon after met the love of her life, Joseph Bardinelli. They married in 1987 after two years of dating and cherished their bond for nearly 33 years.
Penny was a loving, nurturing, and supportive mother of two daughters, Francesca and Olivia Bardinelli. In 2010, after raising her daughters, she decided to continue her professional aspirations as Portuguese speaking Ground Staff with Delta Airlines and retired after 10 years. Penny was actively involved as a mentor in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for 8 years. She was an exceptional person with a beautiful, warm smile that shined both inside and out.

John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
