Obituary of Giuseppe 'Joe' Badalamenti

Giuseppe Badalamenti. Age 94 of Wyandotte.
Beloved husband of Josephine Badalamenti. Loving father of Stephanie Badalamenti, Saverio (Tony) Badalamenti and Frank Badalamenti. Also survived by 1 sister.
Family tribute
Born in 1926 to Saverio and Stefana Badalamenti, Giuseppe was one of three children. Post-war 1945, he came to the United States at the young age of 19, seeking a chance at life’s better opportunities and settling in Wyandotte. Returning to Italy in 1957, he wed the love of his life, Josephine. In 1959, Giuseppe and Josephine returned to Wyandotte, where they settled down to start a new life and to raise a family. They were blessed with three children.
Throughout his career, Giuseppe had an entrepreneurial spirit with home construction building, opening his own seafood market, and also working and retiring from Ford Motor Company. During his retirement years, Giuseppe spent time doing the things he loved, such as traveling, enjoying the outdoors, hunting, making olive oil from his own olive trees, winemaking, and gardening. He also had a great passion and love for animals.
Giuseppe returned to his birthplace of Italy and built a new home where he loved to spend time with family and friends. He was truly a loving family man who enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by family, friends, and especially his loving wife of 62 years.
