Obituary of Diane H. Sadanowicz

July 29, 1942 - November 2, 2020

Diane Helen (Woods) Sadanowicz.  Age 78 of Southgate.

Beloved wife of Thomas.  Cherished mom of Karen Sadanowicz, Lynn (Thomas) Ridenour, David (Patte) Sadanowicz, Terri (Mark) Havlicsek, and Scott Sadanowicz.  Adored Grandma of Kim (David), David Tyler, Emma, Hannah, Jacob, and Abby.  Loving sister-in-law of Helen (the late Jim) Woods, and sister of George (Sheila).  Preceeded in death by her parents Helen and George Woods, and her other siblings Bill (Connie) Woods, Lorraine (Ken) Loftus, Peggy (Jack) Baier, Mary Ellen (Bill) Rourk, Therese (Bud) Dunbar, Jerry Woods, and Judy (Richard) Schoenherr.  Diane is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Love of family and an unshakable faith were at the center of Diane’s life.  Her persistent optimism and cheerful embrace of life was contagious, and she was a blessing to all who knew her.  Raised in a big family, Diane loved the noisy commotion of a house full of loving people, and she re-created that with her husband Tom, making her happiest days those that were filled with the loud voices and happy confusion of a house full of her kids and grandkids.

A socially distanced (masks required) mass of celebration of Diane’s life will be held Saturday, November 7 at 10:00 am at St Patrick Catholic Church of St Vincent Pallotti Parish, 135 Superior Blvd., Wyandotte.  In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St Jude Children’s Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
