Aunt Eva, I am so sad that My Beautiful Uncle Pat has past away, and I can’t be there with you. I hope you know I would be if there was any way. I am there in spirit though. The world is a darker place without him in it. Yet we find the light of Jesus through this all because he loved us enough to save our souls. We know that Uncle Pat is on high with the Angels. We know that he’s walking with the Lord in Glory. He’s with Daddy now and he doesn’t see our tears. He knew that he was loved by many and that we would grieve, but he wouldn’t want us to be sad for long. He knew where he was going and that we’d all rise to meet him someday. You had a long Amazing life together Sis, filled with much happiness. Good things come to good people, and I’m not talking about material things. You knew a life together with God on earth would be rewarding, and it was. How Wonderful to go through life with your mate saved! It was a Beacon of love to us all. What a Wonderful example to share with us all. Uncle Pat was a rare gem. He was an exceptional man who was loved and respected by many, especially his Family. There are many people who are good & kind in life, because they learned by example to be so. I think Uncle Pat was always that way. I think it was one of his many gifts that was bestowed on him from the Lord. He was so Sweet in nature. Never yelled at us, and I’m sure we needed it. If he was disappointed in us we never knew it. He had a contagious laugh & put many a smile on our faces with his quirky jokes and the ability to make you giggle. He was spontaneous in his joyful personality and he didn’t mind sharing it. Even in his last months, he had something humorous to say. I loved him for that, and it didn’t go unnoticed. I have missed him and Sissy a lot these past years since we moved away, but am ever grateful for all the Wonderful times spent together. You have both always been there for others, with a helping hand, good food to eat, or a place to lay your head! I know this personally. He was a man of great character and integrity, who enlightened us all with his presence. I was very fortunate to have him as my Uncle. He will never be forgotten by me. I love him as I do my Daddy, and always will! My life has been filled with Amazing Men. I’m so glad that God Graced me with their presence! Uncle Pat ‘s life was a Testimony to how God would want us all to be. Never looking down on others nor gossiping about anyone. I love you so Uncle Pat and I will see you again some day.... in Heaven. Love, Wanda Jean
