Mary Louise DuRoss. Age 95 of Wyandotte.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald DuRoss. Loving mother of Cynthia Kobb, Gary (Marcia) DuRoss, Susan (the late Kevin) Rennie and Gene (Barbara) DuRoss. Dearest grandmother of Michael, Michelle, Jill, Christina, Brianne, Emma, Sarah and the late Andrea. Great grandmother of Ashlee, Rylee, Keirsten, Melanie, Remington and Liam. Great great-grandmother of Noah.
Family Tribute
Mary was born at home, the youngest of 10 children to Francis and Clara Higgins at 104 Pine Street. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes for 12 years and graduated in 1944. She was married to Gerald DuRoss on February 8, 1947. She was a stay at home mom to 4 children. She went to work at Wyandotte Hospital in the 1980s until she retired. Her hobbies were cake decorating, reading, bingo and she loved to play Yahtzee with her sister. She also made the best apple pie around. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. And most of all she loved having her family around her.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
