Family Tribute
Amanda Marie was first and foremost a loving mom and daughter. She loved her sons, Malachi and Peyton more than anything in this world. They were her life. She would always say, “don’t mess with my babies because you don’t want to see Mama Bear come out in me”. She loved being a football and basketball mom sitting in the stands cheering Malachi on. She stayed active in Infant loss groups because she was determined to make sure Peyton’s memory lived on. She had a heart of gold and looked for the best in people. She found her niche working with kids at the Children’s Place Montessori. She loved the kids she worked with like her own and she often took her kids snacks and would make goodie bags for all the holidays to ensure they knew how special they were to her. She never wanted a child to go without.
Amanda was a beautiful caring person inside and out. She was smart and funny. She was strong-willed. She wasn’t afraid to express her opinion and would defend her point to the end. She could talk your ear off. She had a sassy, sarcastic, blunt side and wasn’t afraid to let people know what was on her mind. She loved her family more than anything and if she loved you, you were her family. She was an awesome aunt to her cousins’ kids and loved them dearly. She wasn’t concerned with titles and connections when it came to making someone part of our family.
She loved to do crafts and would make things for people because she felt they were more personal than store-bought gifts and they came from the heart. She loved cats and her cats were her babies. She loved to shop and she would look for different and unique angels to give her grandma, so she was protected and surrounded by angels. She is now our precious, beautiful angel watching over all of us. Her wings may have been ready, but our hearts definitely were not. Amanda Marie, you were loved to infinity and beyond. May you rest in peace.
