Obituary of William Roger Barrow
November 14, 1945 – January 7, 2021
William Roger Barrow. Age 75 of Gibraltar.
Beloved husband of the late Connie Jean. Loving father of Vaughn Evan (Cynthia Ann) Beaufort. Dearest grandfather of Christopher Beaufort and Catherine Beaufort. Brother in-law of Bonnie Cross, Pearl Dishneau, Joan (Gary) Westbrook and Ed Kelly. Dear uncle of Robert ( Janette) Highley, Patricia (Greg) Woodcroft, Kim (Ian) Clarke, Kit (John) Vautier, Christine Schrantz and Colleen (Mark) Downey. Preceeded in death by parents Helen Etta and Robert William Barrow, sisters Bonnie Highley and Roberta (Bobbie) Kelly and nieces Peggy Mruzek and Penny Highley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please check back for updated service information.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
Bill retired from U.S. Silica in Rockwood. He also was the owner of Redskins Saloon for over 40 years. Through the years he sponsored and participated in golf, softball and dart leagues.
Bill enjoyed deer hunting, duck hunting and classic car shows. He was heavily involved in the Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival each year. He was a member of the Good Guys Car Club and Ducks Unlimited.
Bill was most known for his kindness, his loyalty to his family and a knack for sharing a lifetime of intriguing stories.
