Obituary of Maryann E. Sivalski

March 18, 1933 – July 17, 2017

Maryann Sivalski. Age 84 of Southgate, died peacefully on July 17, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Ki" Sivalski. Dear mother of Christine Sivalski. Also survived by her brother Michael (Linda) Turkaly. Preceded in death by her parents Mike and Mary Turkaly and sister Dolores "Toots" (Herman) Jeskey.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

Maryann was an avid bowler when living in West Virginia; one time even bowling an all spare game and a 618 series. After moving to Michigan, she enjoyed golf outings with her friend Dolores. Several years after retiring from 20 years as a mail carrier, she began traveling the country with her friends, Jane and Evelyn. She also traveled the world with her daughter, Chris, visiting Australia, Greece, Poland and more. The Alaskan cruise she went on was among her favorites, even flying via helicopter to walk on a glacier. She maintained many life-long friendships and was an active member of the Southgate Senior Center. Maryann and her husband, Charles, always enjoyed receiving company in their home, making all feel welcome, including her daughters’ friends. More recently, Maryann enjoyed playing scrabble with her caregivers, visiting with neighbors, Cindy and Floyd and watching Tiger baseball. She will truly be missed . . .
