FAMILY TRIBUTE

Steve Magina was an exceptional family man, a devoted and loving husband, beloved father and an even prouder grandfather. Not a day went by that he didn’t tell his wife how beautiful she was and how much he loved her. Their marriage was the perfect example of true and unconditional love. He was generous and cared for everyone he knew, always putting others above himself. He taught his kids how to be kind and love immensely. He loved a joke (good or bad) but liked his own the best! He was a food connoisseur; always planning events and trips around great food - whether it was fine dining or a hole-in-the-wall. He loved life and all its adventures. Steve took over his father’s book store after his passing, keeping it a family business. His passion for books and knowledge was extraordinary. He loved to come home after work and watch Jeopardy, knowing every answer to every question. He was our “gentle giant,” a tremendous cook, a never-ending jokester, a true gentleman and the epitome of a perfect husband, father and grandfather.
