Obituary of John Thomas Ryan
October 20, 1941 – August 15, 2017
John T. Ryan, Age 75 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of Marjorie Ryan. Loving father of Ron (Noelle) Ryan and Sherrie Rinna. Dearest brother of Michael (Chai) Ryan and Mary (John) Cheek. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
John graduated from Roosevelt High School and, later, worked for Greif Brothers as a Plant Supervisor, retiring in 2006. Some of his favorite pastimes were bowling and playing games on the computer. Those closest to him will remeber him for his love and concern for others. He was a kind, honest man, who loved his family, children, and the Lord. John was very involved in his church.
The following was written by John’s wife, Marjorie
“My husband was a caring, loving man towards his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and I. He loved the Lord, his church and all the loving, caring people at our church. Being a greeter for those arriving there was very special to John -- he was always trying to make people and visitors feel welcome.”
His memory will always be with his loved ones . . .
