FAMILY TRIBUTE
William J. “Grubby” Haefler worked at Great Lakes Steel as a welder for thirty years. Before he retired in 1999 and moved to Clearwater Florida, Grubby enjoyed staying active. He loved playing on golf leagues, spending time with his grandchildren, all of his great grandchildren and enjoyed being a scout leader. Grubby took pleasure in tinkering and fixing the things around the house to stay busy and found joy in woodworking. His greatest pleasure was finding new ways to play jokes on his friends and family to make people laugh. He will be missed.
