Obituary of Pamela Chubner

July 13, 1962 – April 3, 2020

(In remembrance of Pamela Reddick Chubner’s passing on April 3, 2020)

Born in Martinsville, Virginia on July 13, 1962 yet raised in Akron, Ohio.  Pamela Reddick Chubner began her journey through life.  Pamela was the oldest daughter of Roger Foddrell and Emma Lee Pervall.  Pamela raised two sons, Devin and Deaun, and a daughter, Victoria.  Pam received her BA, MA and Specialist degrees from Wayne State University.  Pam was a lover of life as seen by her coining of the phrase “Skippy Peachy”.  This phrase covered all things positive and good in life and if you knew Pam, you knew this phrase and have probably said it yourself a time or two.  Pam taught English and Theater Arts at Patrick Henry Middle School in the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District.  She taught with energy, joy and passion!  Pam is surely missed by all whose life she touched!

Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Lee Pervell and her son, Devin Reddick.  She is survived by her husband Stanley Chubner; her father, Roger and Loretta Foddrell; her sister Rhonda Traylor; her children, Victoria (James) and Deaun (Randeep); her daughter in law Karifa; her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a multitude of cousins and friends.
