I met Joe on Pier II while working on my sailboat many years ago and Joe was the first to say hi and always said "have a good evening." I will truly miss his kind words and good conversation. Joe taught my son and I how to better make fiberglass repairs on his Shamrock this past summer and would always stop over and check in. Joe was a great friend at Pier II to all.
God Bless you Joe!

We are Joe’s next door neighbor for years. He was kind and loving and always went out to help us with anything we needed. One hard winter he assisted my daughter with her car stuck in the snow and worked for hours to help her. Every winter he would clear our snow without asking. Every time he drove by he would honk the horn and wave at us smiling. Joe, you will be missed and our family is grateful to you and we will be saying prayers to you and may your Rest In Peace my friend Fadi Achour Fadwa Amanda Amani 23041 Oak Street

Joe was the BEST neighbor! This is so sad. Joe was just the happy, friendly guy. We were lucky to have spent many years living next door to each other. Joe always took the time to stop and talk . His mother would come over and Joe would always give me a piece of desert she baked. Joe was so proud of his son Joseph and would keep us update on his Achievements. Joe took me and my husband sailing. I thought this will be so relaxing, until joe handed me a rope and said everyone helps. I could go on and on. Joe was so excited about his grandkids and he was going to make them sailors . Like father like son . Our deepest sympathy to the family . Roger and Suzanne Jean

I’ve known Joe for 44 years. I first met him when I joined Ford Motor right out of college and we shared an office cubicle. We’ve been the best of friends ever since. We share a dock at Water’s Edge marina and I have a lot of great memories working, racing, and cruising sailboats with him. My wife Aveda and I have always said they don’t come better than Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

When you see a red Focus hatchback driving by and honking, we'll both be thinking of him ☺️

Joe was always willing to lend a hand. He always had a kind word to say and a perspective on painful events that shed a new light. A truly one of a kind man. I will miss you, and I promise to still honk at you when I go by your boat every day ☺️. I'm truly fortunate to have known you and call you friend ❤️.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Joe from work ford motor. He also would annually attend retiree luncheon. Joe was kind and upbeat. From what I know, he stayed active in work, and sport interests, other things he enjoyed.
Sincerely,
